9. Johannes "John"³ Catt (John², Michael¹ Katz) was born in Masontown, Fayette County, PA March 22, 1787. Johannes died December 14, 1872 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, at 85 years of age. His body was interred December 1872 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, Evergreen Cemetery.

He married Leah Louisa Rupert in Columbiana County, OH, August 15, 1809. Leah was born in PA 1788. Leah was the daughter of John Rupert and Barbara (____). Leah died December 27, 1870 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred December 1870 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, Evergreen Cemetery.

He was baptized in Masontown, Fayete County, PA, February 9, 1788. Religion: Jacobs Lutheran Church.

Johannes "John" Catt and Leah Louisa Rupert had the following children:

22 iii. Barbary Catt was born in Chippewa Township, Wayne County, OH About 1817. She married William Wooster in Hancock County, IN, June 8, 1837.

23 iv. Mary Catt⁽²²⁾ was born in Chippewa Twp., Wayne County, OH August 3, 1818. Mary died March 19, 1869 in Warren Twp., Keokuk, Iowa, at 50 years of age.⁽²³⁾ Her body was interred March 20, 1869 in Pennington Cemetery, Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽²⁴⁾ She married Andrew Tygart in Hancock County, Indiana, May 2, 1838.⁽²⁵⁾ Andrew was born in Washington Twp., Darke, Ohio BET. 1816-1819.⁽²⁶⁾ (Additional notes for Andrew Tygart⁽²⁷⁾) Andrew died February 12, 1898 in Warren Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽²⁸⁾ His body was interred February 1898 in Pennington Cemetery, Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽²⁹⁾ (See Andrew Tygart for the continuation of this line.)

24 v. Katherine Catt was born in Chippewa Township, Wayne County, OH April 6, 1821. Katherine died June 14, 1900 in Murray, Clarke County, IA, at 79 years of age.

25 vi. Sarah "Sally" Catt was born in OH October 18, 1824. Sarah died March 13, 1913 in Republic County, KS, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Republic County, KS, Prairie Rose Cemetery. She married Pleasant Perrin Cardwell in Hancock County, IN, October 3, 1844. Pleasant was born in Rockingham County, NC September 3, 1820. Pleasant was the son of Noah Cardwell and Ann Barnes. Pleasant died February 23, 1900 in Republic City, Republic County, KS, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Republic County, KS, Prairie Rose Cemetery. 26 vii. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Catt was born 1829. She married William Fletcher Barnes in Hancock County, IN, August 19, 1847. William was born in Claiborne County, TN 1825.

27 viii. Daniel Catt was born in Hancock County, IN 1829.

+ 28 ix. Harmon Catt was born February 2, 1832.
