19. Thomas Fletcher³ Bowman (James W.², James M.¹) was born in Chattooga County, GA August 10, 1866. Thomas died June 14, 1950 in Butler, Custer County, OK, at 83 years of age. His body was interred in Custer County, OK, Prairie Bell Cemetery.

He married Edna Pearl Springer in Mount Springs, Cooke County, TX, February 10, 1887. Edna was born in Springfield, IL August 1, 1870. Edna was the daughter of Mr. Springer and Mary "Mollie" Unknown. Edna died October 12, 1938 in Butler, Custer County, OK, at 68 years of age. Her body was interred Prairie Bell Cemetery.

Thomas Fletcher Bowman and Edna Pearl Springer had the following children:

+ 21 i. "Rev. J.V."James Verner⁴ Bowman was born August 11, 1889.

22 ii. Alta Mae Bowman was born in Gainsville, Cooke County, TX May 24, 1892. Alta died June 16, 1968 in Clinton, Custer County, OK, at 76 years of age. Her body was interred June 18, 1968 in Dewey County, OK, Center Point Cemetery. She married Carpenter "Minnis" Orley Dickerson in Putnam, Dewey County, OK, November 22, 1911. Carpenter was born in Floyd County, VA March 23, 1889. Carpenter was the son of John Dickerson and Nancy Stigleman. Carpenter died February 28, 1980 in Clinton, Custer County, OK, at 90 years of age. 23 iii. Mary Catherine Bowman was born in Gainsville, Cooke County, TX January 25, 1894. Mary died March 19, 1922 in Dewey County, OK, at 28 years of age. Her body was interred in Dewey County, OK, Prairie Bell Cemetery. She married Perry Cleveland Haggard in Arapaho, Custer County, OK, September 5, 1913. Perry was born in TX April 12, 1887. Perry died August 2, 1962 in Dewey County, OK, at 75 years of age. His body was interred August 6, 1962 in Dewey County, OK, Prairie Bell Cemetery. + 24 iv. Lonnie Arthur Bowman was born January 7, 1896.

25 v. Jennie Ester Bowman was born in Gainsville, Cooke County, TX November 11, 1897. Jennie died February 8, 1980 in Clinton, Custer County, OK, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred in Arapaho, Custer County, OK, Grisby Cemetery. She married Arthur Lemuel "Lem" Douglas in Custer County, OK, December 29, 1915. Arthur was born in Leon, Oklahoma County, OK June 6, 1891. Arthur was the son of John Douglas and Elzia Anderson. Arthur died August 26, 1970 in Clinton, Custer County, OK, at 79 years of age. 26 vi. Eunice Velma Bowman was born in Gainsville, Cooke County, TX December 30, 1899. She married Lafayette "Pink" H. Higgins in Custer City, Custer County, OK, August 21, 1920. Lafayette was born in Athens, Henderson County, TX October 11, 1892. Lafayette died April 23, 1965 in Livermore, San Joaquin County, CA, at 72 years of age. His body was interred in Marysville, Yuba County, CA, Sierra View Memorial Park.

27 vii. Lois Naomia Bowman was born in Custer City, Custer County, OK January 17, 1902. She married Rhea Hewitt July 10, 1920. Rhea was born in KS 1899. (See Rhea Hewitt for the continuation of this line.)

28 viii. Thomas "Olan" Bowman was born in Custer City, Custer County, OK January 22, 1904. Thomas died October 10, 1963 in Custer City, Custer County, OK, at 59 years of age. His body was interred in Arapaho, Custer County, OK. He married Edith Wells.

29 ix. Marvin Roy Bowman was born in Custer City, Custer County, OK February 27, 1906. Marvin died December 20, 1911 in Custer City, Custer County, OK, at 5 years of age. His body was interred in Custer City, Custer County, OK, Elm Cemetery.

30 x. Opal Pearl Bowman was born in Custer City, Custer County, OK September 28, 1908. Opal died November 2000 in CA, at 92 years of age. She married George Morton in OK, January 7, 1925. George died in CA.

+ 31 xi. Paul Dee Bowman was born September 24, 1910.

32 xii. Orville Loren Bowman was born in Custer City, Custer County, OK March 3, 1913. Orville died December 14, 1917 in Custer County, OK, at 4 years of age. His body was interred in Custer County, OK, Elm Cemetery.

33 xiii. Walter Eldrep Bowman was born in Custer City, Custer County, OK June 23, 1917. Walter died August 8, 1917 in Custer County, OK, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Custer County, OK, Elm Cemetery.
