2. Arthur Lemuel "Lem"2 Douglas (John1) was born in Leon, Oklahoma County, OK June 6, 1891. Arthur died August 26, 1970 in Clinton, Custer County, OK, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Arapaho, Custer County, OK, Grisby Cemetery.
He married Jennie Ester Bowman in Custer County, OK, December 29, 1915. Jennie was born in Gainsville, Cooke County, TX November 11, 1897. Jennie was the daughter of Thomas Fletcher Bowman and Edna Pearl Springer. Jennie died February 8, 1980 in Clinton, Custer County, OK, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred in Arapaho, Custer County, OK, Grisby Cemetery.
