156. Sherrill Lake¹⁰ Tarpley (Carl Lee⁹, Sterling Lake⁸, Joseph Bell⁷, Sterling⁶, John⁵, John⁴, John³, John², John¹) was born in McAlister, Quay County, New Mexico August 14, 1910. Sherrill died February 19, 1987 in Albuqerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, at 76 years of age.

He married Theda Virginia Woods in Roswell, Chavez County, New Mexico. Theda was born in El Paso, Texas October 25, 1917. Theda died August 15, 1990 in Albuqerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, at 72 years of age.

Sherrill Lake Tarpley and Theda Virginia Woods had the following children:
