52. Joseph Bell⁷ Tarpley Dr. (Sterling⁶, John⁵, John⁴, John³, John², John¹) was born in Wilson County, Tennessee February 22, 1814. Joseph died February 16, 1899 in Bowie, Montague County, Texas, at 84 years of age.

He married Georgeanna Hull Lake in Yalobusha County, Mississippi, January 22, 1846. Georgeanna was born in Maryland August 31, 1817. Georgeanna died December 23, 1912 in Bowie, Montague County, Texas, at 95 years of age.

Joseph Bell Tarpley Dr. and Georgeanna Hull Lake had the following children:

84 i. Robert Perry⁸ Tarpley was born in Mississippi March 28, 1847. Robert died April 4, 1874 at 27 years of age.

+ 85 ii. Joseph Alfred Tarpley was born July 11, 1848.

86 iii. Mary Lucretia Tarpley was born in Mississippi March 6, 1851. Mary died 1948 in Bowie, Montague County, Texas, at 97 years of age.
