23. Jesse Franklin³ Tygart (Joseph Hiram², Andrew¹)⁽¹⁶⁸⁾ was born in Warren Twp., Keokuk, Iowa September 12, 1882. Jesse died April 29, 1972 in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa, at 89 years of age. His body was interred May 2, 1972 in Pennington Cemetery, Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.

He married Alvina Sophia Bruns in Keokuk County, Iowa, September 14, 1913.⁽¹⁶⁹⁾ Alvina was born in Keokuk County, Iowa January 23, 1891. (Additional notes for Alvina Sophia Bruns⁽¹⁷⁰⁾) Alvina died September 3, 1961 in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa, at 70 years of age. Her body was interred September 5, 1961 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Washington Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽¹⁷¹⁾

Jesse Franklin Tygart and Alvina Sophia Bruns had the following children:

28 i. D. Mildred⁴ Tygart⁽¹⁷²⁾ was born in West Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa 1914.⁽¹⁷³⁾ Her body was interred in Abel Cemetery, Belton Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽¹⁷⁴⁾ She married Waldo L. Shaw in Sigourney, Keokuk, Iowa, April 25, 1936.⁽¹⁷⁵⁾ Waldo was born in Benton Twp., Keokuk, Iowa July 14, 1914. (Additional notes for Waldo L. Shaw⁽¹⁷⁶⁾) Waldo died July 22, 1998 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, at 84 years of age. His body was interred July 26, 1998 in Abel Cemetery, Belton Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽¹⁷⁷⁾ (See Waldo L.
