24. Charles Calvin³ Tygart (Joseph Hiram², Andrew¹)⁽¹⁷⁸⁾ was born in Warren Twp., Keokuk, Iowa December 12, 1887. Charles died February 26, 1983 in Sigourney, Keokuk, Iowa, at 95 years of age. His body was interred March 1, 1983 in Pennington Cemetery, Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽¹⁷⁹⁾

He married Lulu B. Melcum in Sigourney, Keokuk, Iowa, February 14, 1917.⁽¹⁸⁰⁾ Lulu was born in Warren Twp., Keokuk, Iowa December 8, 1894. (Additional notes for Lulu B. Melcum⁽¹⁸¹⁾) Lulu died April 2, 1975 in Hayesville, Keokuk, Iowa, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred April 5, 1975 in Pennington Cemetery, Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽¹⁸²⁾

Charles Calvin Tygart and Lulu B. Melcum had the following children:

+ 30 i. Raymond L.⁴ Tygart was born March 21, 1919.

+ 31 ii. Leonard Dwight Tygart was born December 9, 1923.
