He married Eliza Isabell Moore in TX, July 20, 1891. Eliza was born in Cooke County, TX March 1, 1874. Eliza was the daughter of Berry Newton Moore and Mary Ellen Hodges. Eliza died May 7, 1896 in Sunset, Montague County, TX, at 22 years of age.

Thomas Marion Wheeler and Eliza Isabell Moore had the following children:

3 i. Homer Alberta "Bertie"³ Wheeler was born in Alvoid, Wise County, TX May 8, 1892. Homer died November 14, 1968 in Cordell, Washita County, OK, at 76 years of age. She married James Luther Sr. Gambrell in Dill City, Washita County, OK, July 30, 1921. James was born in Keene, Johnson County, TX June 23, 1888. James was the son of George Washington Grambrell and Hester Huff. James died March 2, 1952 in Sentinel, OK, at 63 years of age. (See James Luther Sr. Gambrell for the continuation of this line.)

4 ii. Rosa Lee Bertha Wheeler was born in Alvoid, Wise County, TX October 18, 1893. Rosa died July 3, 1990 in Socorro, NM, at 96 years of age. She married Thomas Ruben Lamance. (See Thomas Ruben Lamance for the continuation of this line.)
