He married Rosa Lee Bertha Wheeler. Rosa was born in Alvoid, Wise County, TX October 18, 1893. Rosa was the daughter of Thomas Marion Wheeler and Eliza Isabell Moore. Rosa died July 3, 1990 in Socorro, NM, at 96 years of age.

Thomas Ruben Lamance and Rosa Lee Bertha Wheeler had the following children:

3 ii. Ula Mae Lamance (still alive).

4 iii. Thomas R. Lamance (still alive).

5 iv. Hazel Lamance was born 1916. Hazel died 1919 at 3 years of age.

6 v. Marion Franklin Lamance was born 1919. Marion died December 29, 1986 at 67 years of age. He married Clara Newton.

7 vi. Elmer Lamance was born 1921. Elmer died 1944 at 23 years of age.

8 vii. Charles Tracy Lamance (still alive).

9 viii. Beatrice Lamance was born 1934. Beatrice died 1946 at 12 years of age.

10 ix. Leroy Lamance (still alive).
