2. Jessie Greene² Boyd (Redman¹) was born in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas September 21, 1881. Jessie died May 3, 1916 in Gracemont, Caddo County, Oklahoma, at 34 years of age. His body was interred in Gracemont, Caddo County, Oklahoma.

He married Eunice Iola Tarpley in Nellie, Stephens County, OK, December 10, 1905. Eunice was born in Mud Creek, Indian Territory, Oklahoma February 9, 1885. Eunice was the daughter of Samuel Sanders Tarpley and Martha Jane "Jenny" Virginia Smith. Eunice died March 25, 1959 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in Amarillo, Texas.

Jessie Greene Boyd and Eunice Iola Tarpley had the following children:

3 i. Hessie Virginia³ Boyd was born in Quay, Quay County, NM October 12, 1906. Hessie died January 4, 1997 in Chowchilla, Madera County, CA, at 90 years of age. She married Julius Dewey "Dude" Elrod in Anadarko, Caddo County, OK, October 18, 1924. Julius was born in Kennadale, Tarrant County, TX April 15, 1905. Julius was the son of George Elrod and Ella Cook. Julius died December 1, 1970 in Fresno, Fresno County, CA, at 65 years of age. (See Julius Dewey "Dude" Elrod for the continuation of this line.)

+ 4 ii. Mallie Hoyt Boyd was born May 31, 1908.

+ 5 iii. Samuel Morris Boyd was born January 15, 1910.

+ 6 iv. Leland Howard Boyd was born February 26, 1911.

7 v. Bessie Bell Boyd was born in Gracemont, Caddo County, Oklahoma March 6, 1913. Bessie died February 19, 1967 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, at 53 years of age. She married twice. She married Lloyd McKinney. She married Eddie Cheyne June 1, 1941.

+ 8 vi. Jessie "Bill" Murrell Boyd was born September 14, 1915.
