9. James "Jack" Luther Jr.³ Gambrell (James Luther Sr.², George Washington¹ Grambrell) was born in Dill City, Washita County, OK December 12, 1925. James died July 4, 1991 in Slidell, LA, at 65 years of age. His body was interred in Bay St. Louis, Hancock County, MS, Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

James "Jack" Luther Jr. Gambrell and Frances Carlile had the following children:

15 i. Nancy Elaine⁴ Gambrell (still alive).

16 ii. Michael Ray Gambrell (still alive).
