8. Henry A.⁴ Ramsey (Hailey Sanford³, Thomas F. Jr.², Thomas Frances¹) was born in Franklin County, VA January 24, 1806. Henry died March 4, 1884 at 78 years of age.

He married Mary "Polly" Robbins in Franklin County, VA, November 25, 1828.

Henry A. Ramsey and Mary "Polly" Robbins had the following child:

20 i. Matilda J.⁵ Ramsey was born About 1837. She married William T. Jefferson in Pittsylvania County, VA, December 31, 1857. William was born About 1834.
