He married Alma Madge Wilson in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, MO, August 10, 1924. Alma was born June 15, 1908. Alma is the daughter of Marion Milo Wilson and Anna Forbes.

Robert Harold Johnson and Alma Madge Wilson had the following children:
