He married Edith Mae Simpson in Grinnell, Gove, Ks, August 17, 1919. Edith was born in Eden Twp., Sumner, Ks August 17, 1898. Edith was the daughter of Melvin Roland Simpson and Dena Osterloh. Edith died December 31, 1989 in Quinter, Gove, Ks, at 91 years of age. Her body was interred January 2, 1990 in Quinter Cemetery, Quinter, Gove, Ks.

Roy Albert Johnson and Edith Mae Simpson had the following children:

3 ii. Clara Marie Johnson was born in Payne Twp., Gove, Ks January 12, 1923. Clara died December 30, 1946 at 23 years of age. Her body was interred in Quinter Cemetery, Quinter, Gove, Ks. She married [_______] Owens.

4 iii. Izetta May Johnson was born in Payne Twp., Gove, Ks October 24, 1924. Izetta died March 26, 1992 in Wheat Ridge, Jefferson, Co, at 67 years of age. Her body was interred March 30, 1992 in Arvada Cemetery, Arvada, Jefferson, Co. She married Harold Walz. Harold was born July 23, 1926. Harold died April 11, 1989 in Arvada, Jefferson, Co, at 62 years of age. His body was interred April 13, 1989 in Arvada Cemetery, Arvada, Jefferson, Co.

5 iv. Leona May Johnson (still alive).

6 v. Florence K. Johnson was born in Payne Twp., Gove, Ks March 7, 1928. Florence died January 22, 1998 in Quinter, Gove, Ks, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred January 25, 1998 in Quinter Cemetery, Quinter, Gove, Ks. She married Elvin Tuttle in Quinter, Gove, Ks, June 19, 1946. Elvin died February 21, 1997 in Quinter, Gove, Ks. His body was interred February 23, 1997 in Quinter Cemetery, Quinter, Gove, Ks. (See Elvin Tuttle for the continuation of this line.)

7 vi. Johanna I. Johnson was born in Payne Twp., Gove, Ks September 3, 1929. Johanna died March 1, 1993 in Wakeeney, Trego, Ks, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred March 3, 1993 in Quinter Cemetery, Quinter, Gove, Ks. She married Floid Simmerman in Quinter, Gove, Ks, June 8, 1947. (See Floid Simmerman for the continuation of this line.)

8 vii. Albert Leroy Johnson was born in Payne Twp., Gove, Ks May 22, 1932. Albert died September 10, 1950 at 18 years of age. His body was interred 1950 in Quinter Cemetery, Quinter, Gove, Ks.
