31. James Paris⁶ Lawrence (Robert⁵, Archibald⁴, Richard³, Edward² Larrance, John¹) was born in KY November 26, 1851. James died October 10, 1945 Warren County, KY, at 93 years of age.

He married Emily Willis Butler Barren County, KY, 1876. Emily was born About 1854. Emily was the daughter of Robert Butler and Eliza Duff. Emily died August 18, 1937 in Smith's Grove, Warren County, KY, at 83 years of age.

James Paris Lawrence and Emily Willis Butler had the following children:

49 i. Infant⁷ Lawrence.

+ 50 ii. James Allen Lawrence was born November 10, 1877.

51 iii. Nettie Lawrence was born October 18, 1883. Nettie died July 1941 at 57 years of age. She married Will Grinstead in Warren, KY, December 29, 1902. Will was the son of Barthalmey Grinstead and Martha Lawrence. (See Will Grinstead for the continuation of this line.)

52 iv. Robert L. Lawrence was born October 22, 1885. Robert died March 19, 1956 Warren County, KY, at 70 years of age. He married Myrtle Whitley Warren County, KY, January 2, 1942.

53 v. Dan Lawrence was born February 24, 1888. Dan died January 22, 1979 Warren County, KY, at 90 years of age. He married Rosa Dorsey.

54 vi. Bessie Lawrence was born March 24, 1890. She married Dennon Gobole. (See Dennon Gobole for the continuation of this line.)

She resided in OK.

55 vii. Hattie Lawrence was born November 20, 1892. Hattie died September 20, 1913 at 20 years of age.

56 viii. Gladie Lawrence (living status unknown).

+ 57 ix. Dewey Lawrence was born October 2, 1898.
