28. Robert⁵ Lawrence (Archibald⁴, Richard³, Edward² Larrance, John¹)⁽³⁰⁾ was born Barren County, KY September 22, 1824. Robert died March 9, 1907 at 82 years of age.

He married Martha Goodnight Warren County, KY, February 9, 1847. Martha is the daughter of Isaac Goodnight and Mary Ground.

Robert Lawrence and Martha Goodnight had the following children:

+ 29 i. Sidney Jackson⁶ Lawrence was born November 17, 1847.

+ 30 ii. Henry H. Lawrence was born About October 1849.

+ 31 iii. James Paris Lawrence was born November 26, 1851.

32 iv. Mary E. Lawrence was born in KY About 1854.

+ 33 v. John A. Lawrence was born April 5, 1856.

+ 34 vi. Isaac Ewing Lawrence was born April 2, 1858.

35 vii. Sarah Catherine Lawrence was born in KY January 15, 1860. Sarah died March 19, 1928 in Warren, KY, at 68 years of age. She married John Morgan Lawrence in Warren, KY, November 21, 1887. John was the son of William Lawrence and Mary Norris. (See John Morgan Lawrence for the continuation of this line.)

+ 36 viii. Jefferson D. Lawrence was born April 2, 1862.

+ 37 ix. Robert L. Lawrence was born May 8, 1864.

38 x. Luther T. Lawrence was born in KY August 1, 1866. Luther died 1900 at 33 years of age.

39 xi. Martha J. Lawrence was born in KY About May, 1874. Martha died December 20, 1944 Warren County, KY, at 70 years of age. She married Tom Motley. Tom is the son of Matthew Motley and Emily ??. (See Tom Motley for the continuation of this line.)
