2. Aurelius S.² Finch (Dr. Aurelius S.¹) was born in Polk Twp., Christian County, MO July 14, 1878. Aurelius died October 17, 1962 in Salem, Marion County, OR, at 84 years of age. His body was interred in Salem, CT, Belcrest Memorial Cemetery.

He married Melda Kizzah Wilson in Ft.Scott, Bourbon County, KS, November 6, 1898. Melda was born in near Uniontown, Bourbon County, KS June 14,1875. Melda was the daughter of Mahlon Jacob Wilson and Clarissa Elena Speers. Melda died January 18, 1918 in Portland, OR, at 42 years of age. Her body was interred Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, Evergreen Cemetery.

Aurelius S. Finch and Melda Kizzah Wilson had the following children:

3 i. Alice Valrey³ Finch was born Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS September 2, 1899. Alice died July 18, 1938 in Portland, OR, at 38 years of age. Her body was interred Riverview Abbey. She married twice. She married Samuel Jackson Lathom in Vancouver, Clark County, WA, October 31, 1917. Samuel was born in Prentice, Morgan County, IL July 17, 1891. Samuel was the son of Samuel C. Lathom and Lillie Cophene Willett. Samuel died April 27, 1958 in San Jose, Santa Clara County, CA, at 66 years of age. (See Samuel Jackson Lathom for the continuation of this line.) She married Dr. Kenneth Churchill Woolley in Portland, Multnomah County, OR, August 29, 1935. Dr. was born in Roseburg, Douglas County, OR February 26, 1897. Dr. was the son of Frank W. Woolley and Charlotte Berry. Dr. died July 22, 1951 in Portland, Multnomah County, OR, at 54 years of age. His body was interred Lincoln Memorial. 4 ii. Aurealius S. Finch was born in Deadwood, Lawrence County, SD October 16, 1901. Aurealius died November 1974 in Portland, Multnomah County, OR, at 73 years of age. He married Leone (______). Leone was born in Portland, Multnomah County, OR January 20, 1903. Leone died October 1976 in Portland, Multnomah County, OR, at 73 years of age.
