1. Mahlon Stacy¹ Wilson was born in VA 1802. Mahlon died July 7, 1865 in near Lawrence, Douglas County, KS, at 63 years of age.

He married Susannah Epley in Canton, Stark County, OH, June 8, 1830. Susannah was born in PA February 6, 1810. Susannah was the daughter of Jacob Epley and Mary ?? Epley. Susannah died August 11, 1888 in near Xenia, Bourbon County, KS, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Franklin Township, Bourbon County, KS, Osage Cemetery.

Mahlon Stacy Wilson and Susannah Epley had the following children:

+ 2 i. James Franklin² Wilson was born 1831.

+ 3 ii. Aristarchus "Stark" Wilson was born March 13, 1833.

+ 4 iii. Marion Stacy Wilson was born January 12, 1835.

5 iv. Artamissa Mary Ellen Wilson was born in Columbiana County, OH 1837. Artamissa died January 31, 1853 or 1854 in McLean County, IL, at 15 years of age. She married Cyrus A. Hinshaw in McLean County, IL, May 16, 1852. Cyrus was born in McLean County, IL May 26, 1829. Cyrus was the son of Jacob Hinshaw and Mary Johnson. Cyrus died about 1858 in KY. (See Cyrus A. Hinshaw for the continuation of this line.)

+ 6 v. George Washington Wilson was born August 17, 1839.

7 vi. Harrison E. Wilson was born in McLean County, IL December 4, 1841. Harrison died July 7, 1842 in McLean County, IL, at less than one year of age.

+ 8 vii. Augustus Templeman Wilson was born May 20, 1843.

+ 9 viii. Mahlon Jacob Wilson was born February 12, 1846.

10 ix. Lina Jane Wilson was born in McLean County, IL 1847. She married Oliver P. Sample in McLean County, IL, September 7, 1868. Oliver was born in OH About 1848.
