2. Cyrus A.² Hinshaw (Jacob¹) was born in McLean County, IL May 26, 1829. Cyrus died about 1858 in KY.

He married Artamissa Mary Ellen Wilson in McLean County, IL, May 16, 1852. Artamissa was born in Columbiana County, OH 1837. Artamissa was the daughter of Mahlon Stacy Wilson and Susannah Epley. Artamissa died January 31, 1853 or 1854 in McLean County, IL, at 15 years of age.

Cyrus A. Hinshaw and Artamissa Mary Ellen Wilson had the following child:
