2. Seth Andrew² Guthrie (James¹) was born in Mound City, Holt County, MO November 24, 1873. Seth died October 13, 1956 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, at 82 years of age. His body was interred in Amarillo, Texas.

He married Eunice Iola Tarpley in Gracemont, Caddo County, OK, May 3, 1918. Eunice was born in Mud Creek, Indian Territory, Oklahoma February 9, 1885. Eunice was the daughter of Samuel Sanders Tarpley and Martha Jane "Jenny" Virginia Smith. Eunice died March 25, 1959 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in Amarillo, Texas.

Seth Andrew Guthrie and Eunice Iola Tarpley had the following children:

+ 3 i. James"Jim" Seth³ Guthrie was born February 9, 1919.

+ 4 ii. Sterling Harold Guthrie (still alive).

+ 5 iii. Marlyn Guthrie (living status unknown).

6 iv. Jennie Lee Guthrie was born in Gracemont, Caddo County, OK October 4, 1926. Jennie died January 7, 2000 Amarillo, Potter County, TX, at 73 years of age. She married Joe Anthony Foster Amarillo, Potter County, TX, October 9, 1942. Joe was born in Wolf City, TX August 20, 1925. (See Joe Anthony Foster for the continuation of this line.)

7 v. Eula Florena Guthrie was born Amarillo, Potter County, TX August 2, 1931. Eula died September 10, 1994 Amarillo, Potter County, TX, at 63 years of age. She married twice. She married Billy Wayne Weathers. Billy was born in Lelia Lake, TX July 9, 1933. (See Billy Wayne Weathers for the continuation of this line.) She married Doyil Christie Palmer Amarillo, Potter County, TX, December 15, 1949. Doyil was born in Ada, OK November 10, 1930. Doyil died April 9, 1980 in AZ, at 49 years of age.
