3. James"Jim" Seth³ Guthrie (Seth Andrew², James¹) was born in Gracemont, Caddo County, OK February 9, 1919. James"Jim" died October 5, 1969 in Veterans Hospital, Amarillo, Potter County, TX, at 50 years of age.

He married Dorothy Pelnar December 4, 1943. Dorothy was born March 30, 1920.

James"Jim" Seth Guthrie and Dorothy Pelnar had the following child:

+ 8 i. James Michael⁴ Guthrie (still alive).
