2. Robert Edward "Lee"² Trees (Crawford¹) was born in Union County, IL June 12, 1870. Robert died 1948 in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, TX, at 78 years of age.

He married Julia E. Harwell in Dallas County, TX, March 23, 1898. Julia was born in Giles County, TN 1879. Julia was the daughter of Merritt Birdsong Harwell and Sarah P. Tarpley. Julia died 1905 in Dallas County, TX, at 26 years of age.

Robert Edward "Lee" Trees and Julia E. Harwell had the following children:

3 i. Lennah Joyce³ Trees was born June 30, 1899. Lennah died June 13, 1987 in Red Oak, Ellis County, TX, at 87 years of age. Her body was interred in Ovilla, Ellis County, TX, Ovilla Cemetery. She married twice. She married Clifford Tune 1919. Clifford was born in TN September 251892. Clifford was the son of Abe Looney Tune and Annie Shull. Clifford died December 17, 1951 at 59 years of age. His body was interred in Ovilla, Ellis County, TX, Ovilla Cemetery. (See Clifford Tune for the continuation of this line.) She married Herman W. Curtis August 1953. Herman was born 1891. Herman died 1978 at 87 years of age.

4 ii. Vivian Trees was born in Dallas County, TX November 9, 1900. Vivian died May 26, 1929 at 28 years of age. Her body was interred in Ovilla, Ellis County, TX, Ovilla Cemetery. She married twice. She married Lewis McElroy in Dallas County, TX, about 1918. Lewis was born May 4, 1902. Lewis died March 1, 1919 in Ovilla, Ellis County, TX, at 16 years of age. His body was interred in Ovilla, Ellis County, TX, Ovilla Cemetery. She married Roy H. Pogue in Dallas County, TX, after March 1919. Roy was born 1896. Roy died 1943 at 47 years of age. His body was interred in Ovilla, Ellis County, TX, Midlothian Cemetery. (See Roy H. Pogue for the continuation of this line.)

5 iii. Merritt Trees was born January 4, 1902. Merritt died October 10, 1995 in Red Oak, Ellis County, TX, at 93 years of age. His body was interred in Ellis County, TX, Shilo Cemetery. He married an unknown person.
