4. William Jasper² Tygart (Andrew¹)⁽¹²⁴⁾ was born in Boon Twp., Madison, Indiana about 1841.⁽¹²⁵⁾ William died August 1, 1865 in Selma, Dallas, Alabama, at 24 years of age.⁽¹²⁶⁾ His body was interred in Marietta and Atlanta National, Marietta, Cobb, Georgia.

He married Sarah Jane Dawson. Sarah was born 1850. Sarah died 1938 at 88 years of age.

William served in the military in 12th Iowa Infantry Co. K, BET. 3 DEC 1864-1 AUG 1865.⁽¹²⁷⁾ William participated in the Fact1 event August 2, 1865 in 1st buried Selma Cemetery, Alabama.

William Jasper Tygart and Sarah Jane Dawson had the following child:

18 i. William J.³ Tygart was born in Keokuk County, Iowa June 1865. William died October 4, 1866 in Keokuk County, Iowa, at 1 year of age. His body was interred October 5, 1866 in Pennington Cemetery, Lancaster Twp., Keokuk, Iowa.⁽¹²⁸⁾
