He married Ida May Brandon in Love County, OK, December 4, 1910.

18 ix. Johnny M. Powers was born in Sentinel, Washita County, OK January 19, 1931. Johnny died February 1, 1937 in Sentinel, Washita County, OK, at 6 years of age.
