1. Edward Whit¹ Mace was born in Nicholas County, VA December 1818. Edward died June 8, 1900 in Linn County, MO, at 81 years of age.

He married Isabelle Duffield in Braxton County, VA, ca 1840. Isabelle was born in VA October 22, 1822. Isabelle died After 1900 in Linn County, MO.

Edward Whit Mace and Isabelle Duffield had the following children:

2 i. Marshall F.² Mace was born in Taylor Township, Linn County, MO 1842. Marshall died April 25, 1882 in Avalon, Livingston County, MO, at 39 years of age. He married Estavitta "Eva" A. Stanberry in Linn County, MO, July 24, 1861.

+ 3 ii. Henry Mace was born 1844.

4 iii. Isaac L. Mace was born in Linn County, MO 1849. He married Emma (Unknown). Emma was born in OH 1854.

5 iv. Mary E. Mace was born January 11, 1850. Mary died June 10, 1889 at 39 years of age.

6 v. Robert G. Mace was born in Linn County, MO March 1851. He married Sarah (Unknown) Linn County, MO. Sarah was born April 1854.

7 vi. Nancy Mace was born in Linn County, MO 1856.

8 vii. Jennie M. Mace was born in Linn County, MO 1859.

9 viii. Hedgeman F. Mace was born in Linn County, MO 1862.

10 ix. John S. Mace was born in Linn County, MO December 1863. He married Martha (Unknown) in MO. Martha was born in MO July 1872.
