1. Cloyd Clayton¹ Schoonover was born in Vernon County, MO April 28, 1894. Cloyd died May 3, 1965 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, at 71 years of age. His body was interred in Bourbon County, KS, Clarksburg Cemetery.

He married Pearl Amelia Carson Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, October 26, 1917. Pearl was born Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS July 24, 1898. Pearl is the daughter of John Henry Carson and Mary May Catt.

Cloyd Clayton Schoonover and Pearl Amelia Carson had the following children:
