2. Charles Elden² Harper (Henry "Harry"¹) was born in Devon, KS May 16, 1915. Charles died March 22, 1977 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, at 61 years of age. His body was interred Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, Memory Gardens.

He married Mary Lillie Pellett in Courthouse, Girard, KS, February 7, 1938. Mary was born Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS August 1, 1920. Mary is the daughter of Rufus Ezra Pellett and Lola Mary Carson.

Charles Elden Harper and Mary Lillie Pellett had the following children:
