2. Rufus Ezra² Pellett (Ezra Mitchner¹) was born in Garland, KS June 10, 1898. Rufus died November 19, 1966 in Osawatomie, Kansas State Hospital, at 68 years of age. His body was interred in Bourbon County, KS, Clarksburg Cemetery.

He married Lola Mary Carson Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, August 3, 1917. Lola was born Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS December 23, 1896. Lola is the daughter of John Henry Carson and Mary May Catt.

Rufus Ezra Pellett and Lola Mary Carson had the following children:
