1. Calahil M.¹ Wade was born in Bedford Co., Virginia May 17, 1826.

He married Virginia M. Clark Twin in Wythe Co., Virginia, September 15, 1853. Virginia was born in Wythe Co., Viginia December 11, 1832. Virginia was the daughter of John Clark Farmer and Mary Rebecca Seybert. Virginia died before August 22, 1862 at approximately 29 years of age.

Calahil M. Wade and Virginia M. Clark Twin had the following children:

2 i. Virginia M.² Wade was born 1857.

3 ii. John S. Wade was born 1858.

4 iii. Nancy R. Wade was born 1860.
