1. James Elbert¹ Cook was born in Tn 1857.

He married Dora Etter Clark in Wise Co., Texas, December 2, 1884. Dora was born in Al June 15, 1866. Dora was the daughter of Christopher Columbus Clark Farmer and Susanna Hathaway. Dora died August 16, 1908 in Custer, Ok, at 42 years of age. Her body was interred in Dewey, Ok.

James Elbert Cook and Dora Etter Clark had the following children:

2 i. James Jefferson² Cook was born in Decatur, Wise, Tx May 3, 1890. James died December 18, 1980 in Littlefield, Lamb, Tx, at 90 years of age. He married Inez A. Taylor in Amherst, Lamb, Texas, March 8, 1913. Inez was born in Lexington, Bourbon, Ky February 19, 1896. Inez died June 15, 1992 in Littlefield, Lamb, Tx, at 96 years of age.

3 ii. Cellie Mae Cook was born in Madill, Marshall, Ok August 14, 1893. Cellie died August 5, 1970 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City, Ok, at 76 years of age. Her body was interred in Custer City, Custer, Ok. She married William A. Sherbourne in Custer Co., Oklahoma, January 13, 1907. William was born in Ne December 21, 1885. William died July 22, 1960 in Ok, at 74 years of age. His body was interred in Masonic Cemetery, Custer, Ok. i0 William is buried in the Masonic Cemeterty in Custer City Oklahoma.
