1. William Holt¹ Nichols was born in Tenn July 22, 1859. Buck died April 19, 1937 in Seymour, Baylor, Texas, at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Red Springs, Baylor, Texas.

He married Mary Percilla Clark. Mary was born in Texas January 7, 1862. Mary was the daughter of Christopher Columbus Clark Farmer and Susanna Hathaway. Mary died September 2, 1931 in Seymour, Baylor, Texas, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred September 3, 1931 in Red Springs, Baylor, Texas.

William Holt Nichols and Mary Percilla Clark had the following children:

2 i. Eva May² Nichols was born in Texas December 1881. She married Charles W. Woods in Texas. Charles was born in Alabama 1875.

3 ii. William Holt Nichols Ii was born in Texas August 1883. He married Theresa Oma Taylor in Baylor Co., Texas, July 31, 1907. Theresa died September 3, 1925.

4 iii. M. B. Nichols was born in Texas February 1885.

5 iv. Jo (Josie) Etta Nichols was born in Texas June 16, 1889. Jo died May 29, 1969 in Seymour, Baylor, Texas, at 79 years of age. Her body was interred in Red Springs, Baylor, Texas. She married J. R. Ford.

6 v. John J. Nichols (still alive).
