1. Thomas Clarence¹ McGrew was born July 3, 1884. Thomas died January 9, 1951 in Bourbon County, KS, at 66 years of age. His body was interred in Bourbon County, KS, Clarksburg Cemetery.

He married Maude May Carson in CATT Homstead, SE of Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, June 28, 1905. Maude was born in Bourbon County, KS September 1, 1887. Maude was the daughter of John Henry Carson and Mary May Catt. Maude died June 10, 1959 Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred in Bourbon County, KS, Clarksburg Cemetery.

Thomas Clarence McGrew and Maude May Carson had the following children:

2 i. Thelma Opal² McGrew was born in Gas City, KS August 15, 1906. She married twice. She married Carl Franklin Painter Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS, December 24, 1926.
