2 i. Selma Helen² Young was born in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, MO October 22, 1901. Selma died March 11, 1979 in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, MO, at 77 years of age. She married Harvey E. Smith in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, MO, February 15, 1928. Harvey was born in Buchanan County, MO September 3, 1898. Harvey was the son of John William B. Smith and Hattie Augusta Wilson. Harvey died August 28, 1948 at 49 years of age. (See Harvey E. Smith for the continuation of this line.)
