1. Virgil Geiger¹ Strickler was born in Marion, Grant, In February 15, 1913. Virgil died December 4, 1996 in Topeka, Shawnee, Ks, at 83 years of age. His body was interred December 6, 1996 in Osage City Cem., Osage City, Osage, Ks.

He married Evelyn Thelma Simpson in Nevada, Vernon, Mo, January 28, 1936. Evelyn was born in Grinnell, Gove, Ks January 13, 1914. Evelyn was the daughter of Arthur "Dode" Simpson and Jessie Pearl Knight. Evelyn died January 30, 1993 in Topeka, Shawnee, Ks, at 79 years of age. Her body was interred February 3, 1993 in Osage City Cem., Osage City, Osage, Ks.

Virgil Geiger Strickler and Evelyn Thelma Simpson had the following children:
