He married Sallie Jeanette Greenlaw in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, November 10, 1884. Sallie was born in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee March 13, 1863. Sallie was the daughter of William Bowden Greenlaw, Jr. and Fannie Jennett Brown. Sallie died May 21, 1932 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at 69 years of age.

2 i. William Bowden² Davis was born in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas 1885. William died April 12, 1930 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at 44 years of age. He married Shirley Marie Eledge in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, August 26, 1918. Shirley was born ABT. 1885. Shirley died UNKNOWN.

3 ii. Fanny Brown Greenlaw Davis was born in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas February 11, 1887. Fanny died October 29, 1960 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at 73 years of age. She married twice. She married Emmett Greenlaw Rayner ABT. 1913. Emmett was born in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee July 10, 1890. Emmett died October 9, 1942 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at 52 years of age. 4 iii. Sallie Jeannette Davis was born in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas 1892. Sallie died 1972 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, at 80 years of age. She married twice. She married Joe Wilson UNKNOWN. Joe was born in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas 1890. Joe died 1959 in Cedar Hill, Dallas County, Texas, at 69 years of age. (See Joe Wilson for the continuation of this line.) She married Shirley H. Mccollough in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, December 23, 1909. Shirley was born in Texas 1899. Shirley died UNKNOWN.
