George Hobson and Adah L. Smith had the following child:

2 i. Mary Emily² Hobson was born in McLean County, IL October 7, 1847. Mary died November 13, 1916 in Ogden, Weber County, UT, at 69 years of age. She married Marion Stacy Wilson in Bourbon County, KS, August 7, 1864. Marion was born in Georgetown, Columbiana County, OH January 12, 1835. Marion was the son of Mahlon Stacy Wilson and Susannah Epley. Marion died December 27,1912 in Berryville, Carroll County, AR, at 77 years of age.
