2. Frank Herman² Gorse (John¹) was born in Clayton, St. Louis County, MO July 7, 1881. Frank died March 31, 1968 in Deerfield, Vernon County, MO, at 86 years of age.

He married Alice Amma Wilson in Ft. Scott, Bourbon County, KS, March 5, 1907. Alice was born in Moran, Allen County, KS March 5, 1883. Alice was the daughter of Mahlon Jacob Wilson and Clarissa Elena Speers. Alice died March 15, 1958 in Deerfield, Vernon County, MO, at 75 years of age.

Frank Herman Gorse and Alice Amma Wilson had the following children:

3 i. Hazel Irene³ Gorse (still alive).

4 ii. Mildred Gorse was born About April 1911. Mildred died April 23, 1911 in Bourbon County, KS, at less than one year of age.
