4. Ichabod "Bud"³ Ramsey (Jacob², William Newman¹) was born in Pittsylvania County, VA January 11, 1836. Ichabod died August 26, 1885 in Allens Chapel, Fannin County, TX, at 49 years of age.

He married Mary Adeline Stevens in Fannin County, TX ???, March 21, 1867. Mary was born About 1838. Mary died February 20, 1906 in Self Community, TX ??, at 67 years of age.

Ichabod "Bud" Ramsey and Mary Adeline Stevens had the following children:

13 i. Elizabeth Barbara⁴ Ramsey was born January 15, 1868. Elizabeth died December 29, 1938 at 70 years of age.

14 ii. Laura Ann Ramsey was born October 16, 1869. Laura died January 12, 1958 in Baird, TX, at 88 years of age. She married Thomas Francis Cole November 28, 1888. Thomas was born in Marshfield, MS February 23, 1861. Thomas was the son of Thomas Sidenham Cole and Nannie McKnight. Thomas died September 5, 1907 in Clyde, TX, at 46 years of age. + 15 iii. James Stevens Ramsey was born January 24, 1871.

16 iv. Flora Ida Ramsey was born September 2, 1873. Flora died April 9, 1961 at 87 years of age. She married Mr. Hart.

17 v. Thomas Franklin Ramsey was born December 22, 1875. Thomas died January 15, 1962 at 86 years of age.

18 vi. Jacob Lewis Ramsey was born February 25, 1879. Jacob died May 6, 1963 at 84 years of age.
