1. Thomas Dr.¹ Cole was born in NC 1784/1786. Thomas died March 17, 1857 Linden, Perry County, TN, at 71 years of age.

He married Harriet Byron Bashaw Davidson County, TN, February 9, 1809. Harriet was born Fauquier County, VA March 22, 1788. Harriet was the daughter of Peter Bashaw and Frances Bashaw. Harriet died 1864 Linden, Perry County, TN, at 76 years of age.

Thomas Dr. Cole and Harriet Byron Bashaw had the following children:

2 i. Martha² Cole was born Davidson County, TN January 25, 1810. Martha died February 26, 1896 in Travis County, TX, at 86 years of age. She married John Morgan Hart Davidson County, TN, October 15, 1828. John was born 1756.

3 ii. Urban T. Cole was born October 15, 1810. Urban died November 9, 1896 in Honey Grove, Fannin County, TX, at 86 years of age. He married Evelyn Stoball Linden, Perry County, TN.

4 iii. Elisha B. Cole was born April 15, 1815. Elisha died 1832 at 17 years of age.

5 iv. Emily Cole was born August 19, 1818. She married William H. Guthrie July 1840.

6 v. Nancy Ann Cole was born February 14, 1820. She married M. Thomas November 27, 1849.

+ 7 vi. Thomas Sidenham Cole was born May 27, 1822.

8 vii. Francis Asberry Cole was born March 24, 1825.

9 viii. William Kendrick (Bill) Cole was born October 5, 1827.
