1. Thomas J.¹ Grimstead was born July 7, 1838. Thomas died June 6, 1926 Warren County, KY, at 87 years of age.

He married Kitty Ann Lawrence. Kitty was born November 11, 1849. Kitty was the daughter of Sarah Jane Dillingham. Kitty died April 29, 1934 Warren County, KY, at 84 years of age.

Thomas J. Grimstead and Kitty Ann Lawrence had the following children:
