50. Oscar Oliver¹⁰ Olmstead (Oliver⁹, Henry⁸, Ebenezer⁷, Samuel⁶, Daniel⁵, Lt. John⁴, Richard³, Richard², James¹) was born in Erie, Whiteside County, IL October 31, 1840. Oscar died February 11, 1932 in Murtaugh, Twin Falls, ID, at 91 years of age.

He married Mary "Elizabeth" Clifton in Whiteside County, IL, March 31, 1867. Mary was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL June 26, 1843. Mary was the daughter of Joseph Clifton and Anna K. Heath. Mary died December 10, 1891 in KS, at 48 years of age.

Oscar Oliver Olmstead and Mary "Elizabeth" Clifton had the following children:

58 i. Manning J.¹¹ Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL December 13, 1867. Manning died May 5, 1969 in Milton, Sumner County, KS, at 101 years of age.

59 ii. Eugene B. Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL February 12, 1869. Eugene died December 29, 1966 in Marshall, OK, at 97 years of age.

60 iii. Etta E. Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL January 25, 1871. Etta died November 24, 1955 in Unknown, at 84 years of age.

+ 61 iv. Albert B. Olmstead was born December 29, 1872.

62 v. Howard O. Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL March 28, 1876. Howard died August 24, 1969 in Buffalo, OK, at 93 years of age.

63 vi. Rose E. Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL April 30, 1878. Rose died May 10, 1971 in Kirkland, WA, at 93 years of age.

64 vii. Benson G. Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL August 13, 1880. Benson died October 5, 1968 in Glendale, AZ, at 88 years of age.

65 viii. John Ray Olmstead was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL September 7, 1882. John died May 3, 1983 in Murtaugh, Idaho, at 100 years of age.
