- Tarpley born December 13, 1738, North Farnham Parish,
- Richmond County, VA. He married Elizabeth Smith.
- More recently, I am a descendant of
Sarah P. Tarpley born July 15, 1841 in TN.
- She married Merritt Birdsong Harwell
in Giles County, TN. They later moved
- to Denton County TX. I have some
unidentified photo's that might be them.
